Main Biography

Mr. Mitchell’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on creditors’ rights and bankruptcy.   Mr. Mitchell represents secured and unsecured lenders in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases, bankruptcy trustees in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11, and creditor committees.  Mr. Mitchell also has substantial litigation experience involving fraudulent transfers, secured transactions, mortgage foreclosures, receiverships, judgment collection, garnishment, levy and execution, usury, and general commercial litigation. 

Previous Professional Experience

Prior to joining Rogers Towers, Mr. Mitchell was an associate at the law firm of Akerman Senterfitt in Jacksonville, Florida, where he practiced bankruptcy and general creditors' rights  law. After graduating law school, Mr. Mitchell served as a law clerk to the Honorable George L. Proctor, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Middle District of Florida from 2004 through 2006.
